40 y 20 is a popular Mexican sitcom that centers on the life of Paco, a divorced man in his 40s who enjoys his single life by dating women in their 20s. His lifestyle is constantly disrupted by the arrival of his son, Fran, a young man in his 20s who prefers to date women in their 40s. This generational clash creates a humorous dynamic as both father and son navigate their romantic lives, often leading to awkward and hilarious situations within their shared apartment. The series explores themes of maturity, generational differences, and family bonds through a comedic lens. Alongside Paco and Fran, the show features a recurring cast of eccentric characters, including Paco's ex-wife Rocío, his best friend Brayan, and their long-suffering housekeeper Toña, whose sharp wit and no-nonsense attitude often serve as the voice of reason amidst the chaos of the protagonists' love lives.
