A Certain Scientific Railgun T

Set in the technologically advanced Academy City, where students hone their supernatural esper abilities, 'A Certain Scientific Railgun T' marks the third television season chronicling the adventures of Mikoto Misaka, the city's third-ranked Level 5 esper famously known as the 'Railgun'. The season opens during the Daihasei Festival, a prestigious city-wide athletic competition that welcomes visitors and the media from around the globe to witness the marvels of esper talent. However, beneath the jubilant festivities and friendly rivalries lurks a sinister conspiracy. A shadowy faction orchestrated by Gensei Kihara seeks to exploit the festival to push Misaka's electrical powers beyond their threshold, attempting to force her to ascend to the god-like state of Level 6. To protect her friends, the city, and her own agency, Mikoto must join forces with fellow Level 5 esper Misaki Shokuhou and her loyal circle of friends to thwart the disastrous scheme before Misaka loses complete control. In the aftermath, the narrative shifts toward the mysterious Indian Poker cards—dream-recording devices circulating among the youth that grant access to various talents and memories. As Misaka and Judgment officer Kuroko Shirai investigate the source of these cards, they become entangled with Ryoko Kuriba, a cybernetics researcher whose split existence threatens the fabric of the city, testing their resolve in both high-stakes combat and moral conviction.
