A Million Little Things

Set in Boston, this emotionally charged family and ensemble drama follows a tight-knit circle of friends whose lives are completely upended when Jon Dixon, the charismatic and successful businessman who originally brought them all together, dies unexpectedly by suicide. Reeling from the shock and devastation, the remaining friends are forced to confront their own personal demons, hidden secrets, and life choices as they grapple with the overwhelming question of why Jon took his own life. As the group navigates their collective grief, they discover that each of them has been quietly struggling beneath the surface. Eddie Saville is an aspiring musician wrestling with sobriety and an affair with Jon's wife, Delilah. Rome Howard is an unfulfilled filmmaker battling clinical depression, whose life was saved just moments before his own planned suicide by the phone call about Jon. Gary Mendez is a breast cancer survivor in remission whose humor masks his vulnerability, and Maggie Bloom is a clinical psychologist dealing with a recurrence of her own cancer who is initially reluctant to pursue treatment. Across five seasons, the series tenderly explores the complexities of friendship, mental health, substance abuse, blended families, disability, and deep-seated trauma. The group continually rallies around one another, proving that while life rarely goes as planned, true healing and resilience are found through the enduring bonds of friendship and unconditional love.
