Overview

Set at a remote and dazzlingly isolated retreat in Iceland, the mystery series follows Darby Hart, a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker. Darby, along with eight other guests, is invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat focusing on the future of humanity. When one of the guests is found dead, Darby must use her investigative skills to prove it was murder against a backdrop of biting cold, cutting-edge technology, and shifting motives. Through a series of flashbacks, the narrative also explores the formative cold-case murder investigation that Darby and her former partner Bill undertook years prior. As the present-day body count rises, the lines between Darby's past trauma and the current danger blur, forcing her to race against time to unmask a killer who may be aided by advanced artificial intelligence.
