A Person You Could Know is a poignant South Korean web drama that explores the complexities of love, grief, and the digital remnants of past relationships. The story follows Lee An, a producer for a variety show, who finds herself grappling with the sudden death of her ex-boyfriend, Kim Jin-young, with whom she had a tumultuous ten-year relationship. After his passing, she discovers his smartphone, which remains locked, holding the secrets of his final days and his true feelings. As Lee An attempts to unlock the phone, she encounters a younger man who shares the same name as her late ex-boyfriend. This chance meeting forces her to confront her unresolved emotions and the memories she has suppressed. The series delicately balances the past and the present, examining how we process loss and whether we can ever truly know the people we love, even after they are gone.
