After a life-saving heart transplant, Tian discovers the diary of Torfun, the organ donor who tragically died in an accident. Through her entries, he learns about her life, her secret love for a forest ranger named Phupha, and her unfulfilled promise to count a thousand stars with him. Driven by a desire to experience the life she never got to live, Tian travels to the remote village of Pha Pun Dao to work as a volunteer teacher. In the village, Tian struggles to adapt to the harsh, isolated environment while hiding his true identity. He eventually crosses paths with Phupha, the stern and protective chief forest ranger. As they work together to improve the lives of the villagers, a deep bond forms between them, complicated by the weight of Torfun's past and the secrets Tian carries. The series explores themes of redemption, self-discovery, and the enduring power of love against the backdrop of the breathtaking northern Thai mountains.
