Absolute Power

Absolute Power is a British satirical comedy-drama series that follows the cynical and manipulative world of Charles Prentiss and Martin McCabe, partners at a high-profile London public relations firm. The duo specializes in 'reputation management,' often resorting to unethical tactics, spin-doctoring, and media manipulation to protect their wealthy, famous, and often morally bankrupt clients from public scandal. As the series progresses, the show explores the dark intersection of celebrity culture, politics, and the media. Prentiss, the sharp-tongued and ruthless senior partner, constantly clashes with the slightly more idealistic but equally opportunistic McCabe. Together, they navigate a series of absurd and high-stakes crises, exposing the fragility of public image and the ease with which the truth can be distorted for the right price.
