Age of Youth

Set in a shared residential house called Belle Epoque, 'Age of Youth' follows the lives and struggles of five female college students who are vastly different in their personalities, goals, and romantic lives. Yoon Jin-myung is a hardworking student overwhelmed by financial debt and work; Jung Ye-eun is vocal and devoted to her boyfriend; Song Ji-won is eccentric and obsessed with the occult (and claiming she sees ghosts); Kang Yi-na is glamorous, materialistic, and hides a dark secret; and Yoo Eun-hoe is the timid, naive newcomer who is the last to move in. As the housemates navigate the grueling realities of young adulthood in South Korea, they form an unexpected bond. Dealing with themes of trauma, academic pressure, social awkwardness, abusive relationships, and self-discovery, the series beautifully balances poignant emotional depth with quirky humor. Over the course of their time together, the women learn to understand one another, heal their individual wounds, and confront the multifaceted challenges of growing up.
