Overview

King Ko, an aspiring actor with a deep passion for classic films, gets inadvertently entangled in a high-stakes police operation. Recruited by undercover cop Jim, King Ko is tasked with infiltrating Hong Kong's most notorious triad society, the Ho Tung Gang, by posing as the missing heir to the syndicate's throne. Using his method-acting skills, he must navigate deadly power struggles, fierce internal politics, and suspicious triad members while convincing everyone he is a ruthless mob boss. As King Ko delves deeper into the criminal underworld, he crosses paths with various complicated figures, including a cynical senior police officer, ambitious gang rivals, and a fiercely independent female boss who slowly uncovers his true identity. Balancing his fake persona with his genuine theatrical dreams, King Ko finds himself starring in the most dangerous performance of his life, where a single out-of-character moment could spell certain death.
