American Horror Stories is an anthology spin-off series of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's award-winning hit, American Horror Story. Unlike its predecessor, which tells a single story over the course of an entire season, this series features a different horror story in each standalone episode. The show explores various myths, legends, and lore, often utilizing the dark, twisted aesthetic established by the original franchise. The series frequently revisits iconic locations and themes from the American Horror Story universe, most notably the infamous Murder House. By blending psychological terror, supernatural elements, and social commentary, the show provides a platform for both established franchise veterans and new actors to portray a wide array of characters facing nightmarish scenarios, ranging from haunted technology to occult rituals.
