American Horror Story: Hotel

Set in the eerie and art deco-inspired Hotel Cortez in downtown Los Angeles, the fifth season of the acclaimed anthology series revolves around Detective John Lowe, who investigates a series of gruesome murders committed by the 'Ten Commandments Killer'. His investigation leads him to the mysterious Hotel Cortez, managed by the enigmatic and ruthless Countess, a vampire who preys on unsuspecting guests alongside her lovers. Constructed in 1930 by the serial killer James Patrick March, the hotel is a labyrinth of secret rooms, murder chambers, and trapped souls who are forced to haunt the premises for eternity. As Lowe's obsession with the hotel deepens, his family life unravels, and the dark, blood-soaked history of the Cortez's permanent residents—including drug addicts, ghosts, and ancient monsters—comes to light in a terrifying convergence of the past and present.
