Assorted Gems

Assorted Gems is an emotionally resonant drama anthology series that explores the complex intersections of love, ambition, and regret in contemporary urban society. Set against the bustling backdrop of Seoul, the series follows a diverse group of individuals whose lives casually cross paths at an antique restoration workshop. Each episode or multi-episode arc dives deep into the personal histories and secret struggles of characters who seem ordinary on the surface, but carry profound emotional weight. At the center of the narrative is master restorer Han Ji-hoon, a man who believes that damaged objects—much like broken human relationships—can be made whole again with patience, care, and honesty. Through his interactions with clients seeking to fix heirloom pieces, the series tackles themes of generational trauma, reconciliation, and the quiet resilience found in moments of vulnerability. As hidden truths are unearthed, the characters must confront their pasts in order to forge meaningful futures.
