Ban Saithong is a legendary Thai television drama based on the classic novel by K. Surangkhanang. The story follows Pojanee, a young woman who moves into the prestigious and imposing 'Ban Saithong' mansion to pursue her education. Upon her arrival, she is met with hostility and arrogance from the wealthy and aristocratic residents, particularly the matriarch, Mom Phannarai, and her daughter, Ying Lek, who view Pojanee as an outsider unworthy of their social circle. As Pojanee navigates the complex social hierarchy and the cold atmosphere of the mansion, she finds an unexpected ally in Chai Klang, the head of the household. Despite the constant schemes and attempts to humiliate her, Pojanee maintains her integrity and intelligence, eventually earning the respect of those around her. The drama explores themes of class struggle, the resilience of the human spirit, and the blossoming romance between a strong-willed woman and a noble man bound by tradition.
