Bay of Fires

Bay of Fires follows Stella Heikkinen, a successful woman whose life is suddenly upended when she is forced into the Witness Protection Program following a catastrophic betrayal at her company. Relocated to a remote, eccentric, and insular community in the wilderness of western Tasmania, Stella must navigate deeply suspicious locals, harsh environments, and the lingering threat of the people hunting her down. The town itself is not a sleepy refuge, but a brooding, secretive enclave populated by quirky and dangerous personalities who do not take kindly to outsiders. As Stella tries to adapt to her bleak new reality alongside her children, she discovers that her mysterious new home harbours its own dark agendas, forcing her to rely on her wits, resilience, and newfound survival instincts just to stay alive.
