As she investigates a new case, she discovers that the savior is actually Vincent Keller, a former soldier who was subjected to secret military experiments that left him with heightened senses and the ability to transform into a powerful, beastly creature when enraged. As Catherine and Vincent grow closer, they must navigate the complexities of their forbidden romance while protecting Vincent's secret from those who want to exploit his abilities.
