Blade: The Series is a live-action television continuation of the Blade film franchise, picking up after the events of Blade: Trinity. The story follows the titular half-human, half-vampire 'Daywalker' as he continues his relentless war against the vampire underworld. Blade returns to his hometown of Detroit, where he discovers a new, dangerous strain of vampire activity and a complex conspiracy involving a powerful vampire house. Alongside his new ally, Krista Starr—a former soldier who is forcibly turned into a vampire—Blade navigates a treacherous landscape of shifting loyalties. As Krista struggles to maintain her humanity while infiltrating the vampire hierarchy, Blade must contend with Marcus Van Sciver, a high-ranking vampire with a sinister plan to use a biological weapon against both humans and vampires alike. The series explores themes of identity, addiction, and the moral ambiguity of a hero who is part of the very species he is sworn to destroy.
