Blend S

Blend S follows the story of Maika Sakuranomiya, a high school girl who struggles to find a part-time job because her natural facial expression looks menacing whenever she smiles. Her life takes a turn when she is scouted by Dino, an Italian manager of a unique cafe called Stile, where the waitresses are assigned specific 'attributes' to play for the customers. Maika is assigned the 'Do-S' (sadistic) persona, which ironically fits her natural look perfectly. As Maika navigates her new job, she works alongside a colorful cast of coworkers, each embodying their own specific character tropes, such as the 'little sister,' the 'tsundere,' and the 'onee-san.' The series focuses on the comedic daily operations of the cafe, the budding romantic tension between Maika and Dino, and the humorous attempts of the staff to maintain their assigned personas while dealing with their own genuine personalities and personal lives.
