Blue Mountain State

Blue Mountain State follows the frantic lives of three incoming freshmen at a fictional American university: Alex Moran, a backup quarterback content with riding the bench and partying; Craig Mardell, an overachieving running back destined for the NFL; and Thad Castle, the intense, eccentric, and aggressive team captain/linebacker. Together, they navigate the absurdities of college life, rigorous athletic demands, relentless hazing, and an endless stream of wild campus parties. The series satirizes collegiate sports culture, Greek life, and institutional priorities through an over-the-top, comedic lens. Major conflicts usually revolve around winning big games, maintaining academic eligibility through dubious means, and surviving the chaotic social hierarchy dictated by the football team's legendary status on campus.
