Set in the Irish-American neighborhood of The Hill in Providence, Rhode Island, Brotherhood explores the complex and often volatile relationship between two brothers on opposite sides of the law. Tommy Caffee is a local politician striving to improve his community through the political system, while his older brother, Michael Caffee, is a ruthless criminal returning home after years in hiding to reclaim his place in the local Irish mob. As their paths inevitably cross, the series delves into the moral ambiguity of their choices and the impact on their family and community. The show masterfully balances the gritty reality of organized crime with the intricate, often corrupt world of local politics, highlighting how the brothers' conflicting loyalties threaten to destroy everything they hold dear.
