Bungo Stray Dogs

Bungo Stray Dogs follows the story of Atsushi Nakajima, an orphan who is kicked out of his orphanage and finds himself on the brink of starvation. While standing by a river, he saves a man named Osamu Dazai from a suicide attempt, only to discover that Dazai is a member of the 'Armed Detective Agency,' a group of investigators with supernatural abilities who handle cases too dangerous for the police or military. Atsushi soon learns he possesses a unique ability himself, drawing him into the agency's world of mystery and conflict. The series centers on the ongoing power struggle in Yokohama between the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia, a ruthless criminal organization. As the narrative progresses, the stakes escalate with the introduction of external threats like The Guild, the Rats in the House of the Dead, and the Decay of the Angel. Each character is named after a famous literary figure, and their supernatural abilities are often thematic references to their real-life counterparts' most famous works, blending literary history with high-octane action and psychological drama.
