Busted!

Busted! is a unique South Korean variety show that blends reality television with scripted mystery drama. The series follows a group of bumbling, eccentric detectives—each with distinct personalities and backgrounds—who are brought together by a mysterious organization to solve a series of complex, interconnected crimes. As they navigate various crime scenes, they must decipher clues, interact with guest suspects, and engage in physical challenges to uncover the truth behind a larger, overarching conspiracy involving a secret project known as 'Project D'. Unlike traditional variety shows, the cast members remain in character throughout the episodes, reacting to the unfolding narrative as if it were real. The show features a mix of high-stakes investigative work and slapstick comedy, often pitting the detectives against each other or forcing them to rely on their limited wits to escape traps. As the seasons progress, the stakes rise, revealing deeper betrayals and the true motives of the mysterious mastermind pulling the strings behind their investigations.
