Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following Trevor Belmont, the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, as he tries to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes himself. When Dracula's human wife is burned at the stake after being falsely accused of witchcraft, the grieving and enraged vampire unleashes an army of demonic night creatures to purge Wallachia of humanity. To stop the onslaught, Trevor must form an unlikely alliance with the rebellious magician Sypha Belnades and Dracula's own half-human, half-vampire son, Alucard. Together, they navigate treacherous political landscapes, religious fanaticism, and internal power struggles among ambitious vampires like Carmilla, ultimately fighting for the survival of a doomed world.
