C.B. Strike

C.B. Strike follows Cormoran Strike, a war veteran turned private detective operating out of a cramped office in London's Denmark Street. Despite his physical injuries and complicated personal history, Strike possesses unique insight and a background as a former Special Investigation Branch investigator that makes him exceptionally skilled at solving complex cases that have baffled the police. He is joined by Robin Ellacott, who begins as his temporary secretary but quickly proves her worth as an indispensable partner with a sharp mind for investigation. Together, the duo navigates the gritty underbelly of London, tackling cases ranging from high-profile murders and missing persons to cold cases involving long-buried secrets. As they work to untangle intricate webs of deceit, their professional partnership evolves, tested by the emotional toll of their work and the growing tension between them. Based on the acclaimed crime novels written by J.K. Rowling under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, the series is celebrated for its atmospheric storytelling and the deep character development of its two leads.
