Overview

Set in a world where humans, spirits, and demons coexist, the story follows Li Xiaoyao, an ambitious young man living in a small village who dreams of becoming a great hero. His life takes a dramatic turn when he travels to a mysterious island to find medicine for his sick aunt, only to encounter Zhao Ling'er, a descendant of the Nüwa goddess. Their meeting sparks a fated romance that binds them together in a quest to protect the world from the encroaching darkness of the Moon Worshipping Cult. As they journey across the land, they are joined by a colorful group of companions, including the spirited Lin Yueru and the scholarly Liu Jinyuan. Together, they face internal struggles, tragic losses, and the heavy burden of their respective destinies. The series explores themes of duty, the cost of power, and the enduring nature of love, ultimately culminating in a heart-wrenching battle to save humanity from total destruction.
