Cleo

Set in the aftermath of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the series follows Cleo Straub, a former top spy for the East German state security service. After being betrayed by her own family and imprisoned under false pretenses, Cleo is released into a chaotic, reunified Germany. Consumed by a thirst for vengeance, she embarks on a relentless mission to track down the individuals who orchestrated her downfall. As Cleo navigates the shifting political landscape of the early 1990s, she finds herself entangled in a complex web of conspiracy and espionage. Along her journey, she is pursued by a persistent West Berlin police officer, Sven Petzold, who becomes fascinated by her case. The series blends dark humor, stylized action, and historical drama to explore themes of identity, betrayal, and the lingering trauma of the Cold War.
