Club de Cuervos

Set in the fictional Mexican city of Nuevo Toledo, 'Club de Cuervos' follows the bitter power struggle that erupts after the sudden death of Salvador Iglesias, the patriarch and owner of the beloved professional soccer team, Los Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo. Following his passing, his arrogant and incompetent playboy son, Salvador 'Chava' Iglesias Jr., and his ambitious, highly competent sister, Isabel Iglesias-Reina, find themselves locked in an intense war for control of the club. The series brilliantly combines dark comedy, satire, and dramatic family dynamics as Chava and Isabel take turns running the team into the ground through terrible managerial decisions, personal scandals, backstabbing, and media circuses. Alongside an eccentric supporting cast of players, coaches, and local politicians, the siblings must navigate bankruptcy, relegation threats, and personal redemption to keep their father's legacy alive, resulting in one of Netflix's first and most successful Spanish-language original hits.
