Based on the 1995 hit film of the same name, the television series follows the life of Cher Horowitz, a wealthy, fashionable, and well-meaning teenager living in Beverly Hills. Alongside her best friend Dionne and her socially conscious friend Tai, Cher navigates the complexities of high school life, romance, and social status. While she often meddles in the lives of others with the best intentions, she frequently finds herself learning valuable life lessons about maturity and self-discovery. The series maintains the lighthearted, satirical tone of the original movie, exploring the superficiality of Beverly Hills culture through a lens of teenage optimism. As Cher balances her academic responsibilities, her evolving relationship with her father, and her complicated feelings for her former stepbrother Josh, the show highlights the enduring charm of the characters as they transition from adolescence to young adulthood.
