Colony

Set in the near future, Colony follows a family forced to make difficult choices as they balance staying together while attempting to survive the occupation of Los Angeles by a mysterious extraterrestrial force known as the 'Hosts.' The city is walled off, and the population is governed by a puppet regime called the Transitional Authority, which enforces strict order through a militarized police force known as the Homeland Security. Will Bowman, a former FBI agent, and his wife Katie find themselves on opposite sides of the ideological divide. While Will is coerced into working for the occupation to find his missing son, Katie secretly joins the Resistance movement. As the series progresses, the couple must navigate the dangerous political landscape, uncovering the true intentions of the invaders and the complex hierarchy of the extraterrestrial presence that has fundamentally altered human society.
