Confessions of a Torpe

Confessions of a Torpe is a Philippine romantic comedy television series that explores the universal struggles of being "torpe"—a Filipino slang term describing someone who is too shy, timid, or afraid to express their romantic feelings to their beloved. The story follows a group of chronically shy individuals who enroll in an unconventional confidence-building and dating workshop run by an eccentric love guru. Through a series of hilarious mishaps, heart-to-heart confessions, and unexpected romantic entanglements, the characters learn to confront their deepest insecurities and take a chance on love. As the workshop progresses, the participants not only discover the courage to pursue their crushes but also confront personal baggage from their pasts that hindered them from opening up. The series blends humor, kilig (romantic thrill), and genuine emotional growth, highlighting the complexities of modern dating, friendship, and self-acceptance in the Filipino context.
