Based on the popular crime novels by Viveca Sten, 'Crimes of Passion' follows police inspector Thomas Andreasson as he investigates complex murder cases in the idyllic yet secret-laden Swedish archipelago of Sandhamn. Alongside attorney Nora Linde, who frequently gets drawn into the investigations, Thomas navigates local scandals, deeply buried family secrets, and psychological thrillers. Over the course of multiple seasons, the series explores the stark contrast between the picturesque summer resort community and the dark underbelly of human nature. Nora and Thomas develop a complex professional and personal relationship while tackling gruesome crimes that shatter the peace of the island.
