Current Romance

Crash Course in Romance follows the unlikely connection between Nam Haeng-seon, a former national athlete who now runs a popular side-dish shop, and Choi Chi-yeol, a high-strung, celebrity math instructor at a prestigious private academy. As Haeng-seon navigates the cutthroat world of South Korean private education to support her niece, her path constantly crosses with the overworked and cynical Chi-yeol, who suffers from an eating disorder that only her cooking can satisfy. As the two grow closer, the series explores the intense pressures of the academic system, the complexities of modern family dynamics, and the healing power of human connection. Amidst the budding romance, a mysterious series of incidents involving a metal ball-bearing shooter threatens their peace, forcing the characters to confront past traumas and the dark side of academic obsession.
