Czterdziestolatek. 20 lat później

Set two decades after the events of the iconic Polish series 'Czterdziestolatek', this sequel follows Stefan Karwowsky, now entering his sixties, as he and his family navigate the turbulent economic, social, and political changes of post-communist Poland in the 1990s. Stefan deals with the realities of capitalism, retirement, and aging, while his now-adult children, Marek and Jagoda, carve out their own paths in a drastically transformed, fast-paced world. Created by the original team of Jerzy Gruza and Krzysztof Teodor Toeplitz, the series blends nostalgic comedy with social satire. It explores generational clashes, the struggles of adapting to a free-market economy, and the enduring bonds of a quintessential Warsaw family facing the dawn of a new millennium.
