Deixa Que Te Leve

Set against the stunning backdrop of Arcos de Valdevez, 'Deixa Que Te Leve' follows the story of Luciana, a young woman who returns to her hometown after a failed marriage in Lisbon. Seeking a fresh start, she finds herself caught in a complex web of family secrets, local rivalries, and a burgeoning romance with Pedro, a man who carries his own emotional baggage. As they navigate the challenges of their pasts, they must confront the powerful influence of their families and the societal expectations of their small community. The series masterfully blends elements of traditional Portuguese melodrama with themes of redemption and self-discovery. As Luciana and Pedro grow closer, they are forced to deal with the interference of antagonists who seek to maintain the status quo and protect long-buried truths. The narrative explores the tension between tradition and modernity, ultimately asking whether love is strong enough to overcome the weight of history and the obstacles placed in their path.
