Detective Chinatown

Detective Chinatown is a spin-off series set within the popular Chinese film franchise of the same name. The series follows Lin Mo, a talented apprentice to the legendary detective Tang Ren, as he navigates the complex criminal underworld of Bangkok and beyond. Utilizing his extraordinary sense of smell and keen observational skills, Lin Mo tackles seemingly impossible cases that baffle local law enforcement, often uncovering deep-seated conspiracies that link back to the mysterious organization known as 'Q'. As the series progresses, it expands its scope to introduce new protagonists like Noda Koji, exploring the interconnected web of the 'Crimaster' ranking system. The show masterfully blends high-stakes mystery, dark comedy, and stylized action sequences, maintaining the franchise's signature tone while providing a more serialized, character-driven look at the detectives who operate in the shadows of the global Chinatown districts.
