Dolly Darling

Set in the glamorous yet cutthroat world of 1960s television, 'Dolly Darling' follows the meteoric rise and complicated personal life of Dolly Sullivan, a beloved variety show host whose public persona of sweet innocence masks a razor-sharp intellect and a fierce determination to control her own destiny. As the television industry undergoes rapid cultural and technological shifts, Dolly finds herself fighting against network executives who seek to exploit her image, as well as navigating a complex web of romantic entanglements and familial betrayal. Throughout the series, the stakes escalate as secrets from Dolly's past threaten to surface, jeopardizing her career and the relationships she holds dear. Alongside her loyal head writer, a fiercely ambitious producer, and a circle of high-society confidants, Dolly must master the art of manipulation and reinvention to stay on top. The show brilliantly explores themes of gender politics, the price of fame, and the illusion of perfection in the golden age of broadcast media.
