Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger follows Yamato Kazakiri, a young zoologist who stumbles upon a mysterious cube that transports him to Zyuland, a hidden world inhabited by humanoid animals known as Zyumans. When the brutal alien space poachers known as the Dethgalians arrive on Earth to host their deadly 'Bloodgame' tournament, Yamato joins forces with four Zyumans—Sela, Leo, Tusk, and Amu—to protect the planet. Using the power of the Zyuoh Cubes, they transform into the wild champions Zyuohger, later being joined by the human-turned-bird warrior Misao Mondo (Zyuoh TheWorld). Together, the team fights to stop the Dethgalians' sadistic games and safeguard all life on Earth.
