Set three years after the events of the first season, Doldam Hospital faces a crisis due to a lack of staff and the departure of key doctors. The legendary surgeon Boo Yong-joo, known as Master Kim, travels to Geodae Hospital to recruit new talent, bringing back two troubled doctors: Cha Eun-jae, a brilliant fellow who suffers from fainting spells during surgery, and Seo Woo-jin, a cynical surgeon with a painful past and significant debt. As the new recruits struggle to adapt to the unconventional and high-pressure environment of Doldam, they are forced to confront their own professional insecurities and ethical dilemmas. Under the mentorship of Master Kim, they learn what it truly means to be a doctor, navigating complex medical cases and the hospital's ongoing power struggles against the corrupt Geodae Foundation.
