Drops of God

Set in the gastronomic world of fine wine, 'Drops of God' follows the gripping rivalry between Camille Léger, the estranged daughter of recently deceased world-renowned wine critic Alexandre Léger, and Issei Tomine, a brilliant young enologist whom Alexandre mentored and practically considered his spiritual son. Following Alexandre's passing, it is revealed that his monumental wine collection—the greatest in the world—will be left to the winner of a grueling three-part sensory competition designed by Alexandre himself. As Camille and Issei face off in tests testing their palates, knowledge, and emotional connection to the vintages, they must confront not only each other, but also deeply buried family secrets and personal demons. Camille must overcome her intense aversion to wine induced by her father's harsh childhood training, while Issei navigates the fierce disapproval of his own wealthy traditionalist family, blending a transcontinental cultural journey between France and Japan into a sophisticated exploration of legacy, grief, and passion.
