When bizarre, sphere-like alien organisms suddenly invade the skies across the globe, causing massive casualties and wreaking havoc, the South Korean government declares a national emergency. In a desperate move to boost the country's military strength, high school seniors and college students nationwide are designated as auxiliary forces and drafted into the military. Focusing on Class 2 of Sungjin High School, students who should be busy preparing for their CSAT college entrance exams are instead thrust into brutal military training under the guidance of Platoon Leader Lee Chul-jin and Sergeant Kim Won-bin. As they transition from teenagers studying in classrooms to soldiers fighting for survival on the front lines against relentless alien spheres, the students must navigate terror, grief, and the harsh realities of war while relying on each other to stay alive.
