Eagleheart is an American action-comedy television series starring Chris Elliott as US Marshal Chris Monsanto, a ruthless, no-nonsense lawman operating in a surreal and violently exaggerated version of the American West. Set in the fictional town of High Plains, Monsanto works alongside fellow US Marshals Brett Hanson and Susie Wagner to tackle bizarre crimes, ruthless cartels, and deeply strange local threats. Known for its ultra-violence, deadpan humor, and bizarre surrealist sketches, the show parodies classic 1970s and 1980s gritty cop dramas like Walker, Texas Ranger. Throughout its three-season run on Adult Swim, the series evolves from standard-length episodic parodies into serialized, mind-bending story arcs that satirize prestige television. Monsanto's unwavering commitment to brutal justice leads to absurdly bloody outcomes, collateral damage, and surreal narrative detours. With its cult following, Eagleheart remains a definitive example of Adult Swim's unique brand of deadpan, absurdist comedy.
