Earth to Ned

Earth to Ned is a puppet talk show produced by The Jim Henson Company for Disney+. The series follows Ned, a blue-skinned alien commander, and his loyal lieutenant, Cornelius, who were sent to Earth to scout the planet for invasion. However, instead of destroying humanity, Ned becomes obsessed with Earth's pop culture and pop culture icons. Setting up his bridge/talk show studio deep underground, Ned begins hosting his own late-night talk show, interviewing real celebrity guests and Earthlings to learn more about human civilization. Assisted by CLUMP, a multi-eyed creature who serves as the ship's artificial intelligence and producer, and the destructive AnnE, Ned navigates the bizarre nuances of celebrity culture. Each episode features comedic segments, musical performances, and interviews with actors, comedians, and musicians, all while Ned's overarching superior officer tries to check in on the progress of the planned invasion.
