Picking up immediately after the explosive series finale of Breaking Bad, the film follows Jesse Pinkman as he escapes the neo-Nazi compound where he was held captive. Haunted by his traumatic experiences and the death of Walter White, Jesse must evade a massive police manhunt while attempting to secure his freedom and forge a new identity. As he navigates the criminal underworld of Albuquerque, Jesse seeks the help of his old friends, Skinny Pete and Badger, and attempts to recover a hidden stash of money to pay for a 'disappearer' service. The narrative weaves between his desperate present-day flight and flashbacks that shed light on his time in captivity, ultimately forcing him to confront his past choices and decide what kind of future he wants to build.
