Espelho d'Água

Espelho d'Água follows the story of Rita Vidigal, a young woman who witnesses the murder of her parents in Angola when she is just a child. Years later, she returns to Portugal seeking justice and revenge against the people responsible for the tragedy, who have since built successful lives and businesses in the country. As she infiltrates their world, she discovers that the truth is far more complex than she imagined, involving deep-seated family secrets and betrayal. As Rita navigates her new life, she finds herself caught between her desire for vengeance and the possibility of a new beginning. The series explores themes of trauma, redemption, and the moral ambiguity of seeking justice. Along the way, she encounters unexpected allies and dangerous enemies, forcing her to confront the reality that the 'mirror of water' reflects not only the past but also the distorted perceptions of those who try to hide it.
