Evil

Evil is a psychological supernatural mystery series that follows the unlikely partnership between Dr. Kristen Bouchard, a skeptical forensic psychologist, and David Acosta, a priest-in-training. Together with a tech-savvy contractor named Ben Shakir, they investigate the Catholic Church's backlog of unexplained phenomena, including alleged miracles, demonic possessions, and hauntings. The team must determine whether these occurrences have a scientific, psychological explanation or if they are truly manifestations of supernatural evil. As the series progresses, the trio finds themselves entangled in a larger, sinister conspiracy involving the '60 demonic houses' and the mysterious Leland Townsend, a manipulative psychiatrist who serves as a primary antagonist. The show masterfully blends procedural investigation with deep philosophical and theological questions, exploring the nature of faith, the existence of evil in the modern world, and the blurring lines between science and the occult.
