Forever Knight follows the story of Nick Knight, an 800-year-old vampire working as a homicide detective for the Toronto Police Department. Seeking redemption for centuries of violence, Nick uses his supernatural abilities—including heightened senses and the ability to see into the past—to solve crimes while searching for a way to become human again. He is aided in his quest by Dr. Natalie Lambert, a medical examiner who is one of the few people aware of his true nature. Throughout the series, Nick must constantly battle his own dark instincts and the influence of his former mentor, Lucien LaCroix, a manipulative and ancient vampire who wants Nick to embrace his predatory heritage. The show explores themes of morality, addiction, and the struggle to maintain one's humanity in a world filled with corruption and supernatural danger.
