Fortitude Season 1

Set in the fictional, isolated Arctic settlement of Fortitude, the series begins with the brutal and mysterious murder of a prominent researcher. The town, which prides itself on being one of the safest places on Earth where violent crime is virtually non-existent, is thrown into chaos as the local police force struggles to maintain order while dealing with the arrival of a high-profile detective from London. As the investigation deepens, the town's fragile social fabric begins to unravel, revealing dark secrets, corporate greed, and a terrifying biological threat buried beneath the permafrost. The residents, including the ambitious governor and the local sheriff, find themselves caught in a desperate struggle for survival as the environment itself turns against them, blurring the lines between a traditional murder mystery and supernatural horror.
