Frank Riva

Frank Riva is a French police drama series that follows the titular character, a former elite police officer who returns to the force after a long absence. Having spent years living in exile in the United States, Riva is brought back to Paris by his former mentor to deal with a complex criminal organization that the current police force is unable to dismantle. His unconventional methods and deep-seated knowledge of the criminal underworld make him both an invaluable asset and a polarizing figure among his new colleagues. As Riva navigates the political landscape of the French police hierarchy, he must also confront his own past and the personal demons that forced him into hiding years prior. The series focuses on the tension between his desire for redemption and the brutal reality of his investigative work, as he uncovers a web of corruption that reaches into the highest levels of society. Alongside his team, Riva engages in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, where the lines between justice and vengeance often blur.
