Set in New Orleans, the series follows Rayshawn Morris, a young Iraq War veteran and African American father who finds himself framed for a crime he didn't commit during a botched drug raid. Cornered in his apartment by a heavily armed SWAT team, Rayshawn livestreams the standoff on social media to ensure the truth comes out and to protect his family. As the tense siege unfolds, Lieutenant Steven Poincy, a veteran police negotiator, tries to de-escalate the volatile situation and protect Rayshawn from corrupt elements within his own department. Meanwhile, a viral social media movement rapidly builds outside, putting immense pressure on law enforcement, turning the standoff into a national flashpoint of justice, racism, and police accountability.
