Fresh Meat

Fresh Meat is a British comedy-drama series created by Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain that follows a group of six university students who, having failed to secure halls of residence accommodation, find themselves sharing a house together in Manchester. The series explores the chaotic, hilarious, and often poignant realities of higher education, spanning class divides, mismatched personalities, burgeoning romances, and the terrifying transition into adulthood. The core group features an eclectic mix of distinct archetypes: Kingsley, the insecure wannabe indie-kid; JP, the posh, obnoxious public schoolboy hiding a fragile ego; Vod, the wild, unpredictable party animal; Oregon, the fiercely ambitious social climber desperate to reinvent herself; Howard, the intensely eccentric, socially awkward virgin; and Josie, the stressed-out Welsh overachiever. Together, they navigate the trials of lectures, exams, disastrous parties, and shared living arrangements, forming an unbreakable bond despite their constant clashing.
