Set in a post-apocalyptic world following the devastating 'High War' fought with ultra-magnetic weapons that destroyed civilization and shifted the Earth's axis, the story follows Conan, a superhuman boy raised on 'Remnant Island' by his grandfather. Their peaceful existence is upended when a mysterious girl named Lana washes ashore, pursued by ruthless agents from the industrial nation of Industria who seek to use her telepathic connection with her grandfather, Dr. Lao, to reactivate solar energy weapons. When Lana is kidnapped and Conan's grandfather is killed defending them, Conan sets off on a perilous rescue mission that takes him across the remnants of a shattered world. Along the way, he befriends a wild feral boy named Jimsy and encounters the complex power struggles within Industria, particularly through the ambitious Commander Lepka and the conflicted captain Monsley. As Conan fights to save Lana and prevent Industria from repeating the apocalyptic mistakes of the past, he discovers the resilience of the human spirit and the possibility of a renewed Earth.
